Grits.. i just have to say..i DIDNT do it... i was behaving the whole time you were away.
I TOLD them not to put the cow in yout tub... but nooooo... Ranchie and Imp just HAD to do it...
Then theres the story about when Imp ... uh... nevermind... you dont wanna hear it. The EMT had to come out for that one.
Anyways, i'm just stating now, that it wasnt me... it was THEM!
OOh i forgot to mention Sourland MFB and what they did... ugh.... Just read your local paper... it aint pretty.

BTW- The cow needed a soak in the hot tub, now redhen, you didn't have throw those noodles in the tub as well.

Now that sourland MFB thing was truly disturbing. I made a mental video, and have been reliving it about 20 times a day. truly disturbing... ummm imp's drifting off into reverie

Okay, since DH is not ready for a nap quite yet I decided to make a initial assessment of my broody situation. Here's what I found:

Mi is setting on eggs (SF, 1st time broody)

Doe is setting again (SF, has 3 mo. old chicks)

Jethro is happily setting on her 3 eggs (silkie, 2nd time broody)

And I discovered that Pumpkin, my EE is setting ON TOP of Jethro. This afternoon I'll have to see if I can settle her in her own nest before some eggs end up broken.

Oh and the cutest thing of all....

The other SF, Ray's 4 and a half week old chicks are absolutely the world's cutest chicks (1 brahma, 2 brahma/turkens).

My SIL had told me that one was very bossy and I saw it for myself this morning. A 4 week old chick standing chest to chest with an adult bird.

Nope, it's Betsy the brahma chick. Betsy was named after my mom, so same attitude.

Hoping these three are pullets since there is NO doubt now that the chickateers - Rowdy, Cash and TJ - are roosters. Extremely handsome roos at that. Impy may be a PITA and the world's ugliest little....cockadoodle doo...but he throws beautiful chicks. Too bad his life is coming to an end soon
