All Those Baby Roosters!

Some of you may remember my I took my chicken to school post; these are the chicks the school hatched! Unfortunately, 5/6 of them are roosters. Flanagan, Aragorn, Boromir, Watson, and Sherrington are the boys, but I have one girl, Cressida. What do you do with your baby roosters when you have too many?

I don't know, but they sure are cute!

Unfortunately trying to give them away ends up with them going to someone who plans to eat them.

I send them to auction, sadly unless they are a rare breed there is very little want for roosters with the exception of meat.

They grow up so fast! Last week they were fighting!

hope your chickens don't use that as a ladder to scale the fence.

That's not a fence, it's a hoop coop made from a wooden frame and cattle panels. So they won't be getting out that way. It's just for them to sleep on. But thanks for your concern!
