All those readers ie. nook, kindle

I have a kindle and I love it. Did not think I would, it was a gift. Mine does have a cover and downloads to itself - I guess, I just turn on the kindle wireless and it does its thing.

You can go to amazon and look in the kindle store at the kindle books - the selection is incredible. Mostly I have been getting free books - currently have 200 - and I just love a free book!

It is really nice to be able to grab the kindle head go to an appt. or the airport AND have your library in your hand.

Kindles don't do that.

And the nook i can get at Barnes and Noble? And i dont need internet or a computer? It just loads right onto the device? Do i have to buy a monthly service?

I have a Kindle and love it! My brother gave it to me when he bought the newest version. You don't need to download it to the computer first but you can if you want. I live 60 miles from the nearest bookstore and within a minute I can have the book of my choice for at least half the price. When the kindle can't hold any more books, they can be stored in Amazon to be recalled whenever you want. The author has to allow the book to be in this format though, and some books can't be read this way. But the amount of free books is amazing. The kindle is not touch screen but I like it because it has the look of print and no glare. I'm usually laying in bed when I read and my hand goes to sleep with a regular book because of the way you have to hold it on one page. With the kindle, you just click with your thumb to turn the page.

I have had my Kindle for almost two years and I really love it. I read a lot of books and it is so easy to get the books I want either directly sent to the Kindle or sent to my computer where I can sync to the Kindle later. Lots of free books and all the newest and bestsellers priced usually less than $10 on Amazon. It's great--easy to read, power charge lasts a really long time.
