Hey, I ordered 20 eggs from a lady on facebook, they shipped very fast and all were in great condition! I know you had a bad e bay experience, so I wanted to recommend her to you, Right now she is running a special $20 for 2 dozen, you choose whatever varieties you wan out of Pharoahs, Jumbos,Texas A&Ms,Tuxedos,Golden Speckled Italian and Rosettas. The $20 includes shipping, and like I said she did a great job with packaging and not one egg was cracked

Question:

I have Jumbo Coturnix Quail, and they have full grown into adults. One of the females is getting a very black face, she looks much different than the others. Is that considered a different kind/color all together or is it just a weird variation for Coturnix?

This is her, she is so dark!

This is my roo on the far right and a hen just left of him, they have all looked like that up until now.

she is a brown color phase but looks like she might have some Tibetan color in her genetics that is what I would say but she would be is still brown.

Ok Thanks! I won't use her for the hatching eggs, just in case she has other genes going on... I kind of like her little dark face, she looks sinister lol I got her from a different source than the others, so that would make sense.

she would be fine to use as most jumbos are mixed to get size as jumbos were selective breed to get bigger quail. I would use her because she will different bloodlines to keep from inbreeding

Hi everyone! I just set 75 coturnix eggs and they are due to hatch the 16th of march I may not be there for their hatching will they be ok in the bator for half a day?
