Just put 36 Coturnix eggs in Monday night. This will be the first time I incubated eggs from my own birds :) Also, first time using an automatic turner (why did I wait so long to get one!!!!).

i had a temperature spike of 102... Not sure how long it was that high. Tomorrow is hatch day so I'll find out i guess. The two chicken eggs i have in there are alive and well so hoping the quail are too

50 coturnix eggs due to hatch tommorrow but I keep looking at them every half hour. I am so excited.

Just keep your door closed during the entire hatching process and make sure your humidity is up. I hatch Bobwhites and Gambels and use about 68% during hatching. Best of Luck to ya.

I hatched quail before a couple years ago and have done tons of research. I am super excited about these little ones. :) My 7 year old is excited to see them hatch also. Its a good learning experience for him.
