From what I read they are difficult to have in the wild. The biggest thing is having brush etc and available food. It is difficult because there are so many predators.I have courtix quail and was wondering if they will breed in the wild?... I want to let some loose on our pasture. Will they stay in the area? And will they reproduce on there own?
Coturnix quail will only die within a few days if released into the wild. They are very much domesticated birds and will not sit on their own eggs. They will also not stay close by and are not predator savvy. You would only be feeding your local predators.I have courtix quail and was wondering if they will breed in the wild?...
