YAY ! Had 2 babies hatch out today out of my first test batch of 6. =).

Lost one...was deformed =( . Hoping the others hatch out soon.....

I currently have 30 coturnix quail eggs on lockdown. This is our very first hatch and the waiting is killing me !!

Today is day 16 and yesterday we noticed most of our eggs doing the wiggle dance. I have already figured out how I want to take close up pictures of them hatching and recording it. My camera is working awesome on the eggs.

We using cabinet liner to help reduce damage to their tiny feet. Its a soft material but strong.

Hello, I have just recently made a homemade styrobator and set 30 coturnix eggs it has been 17-18 days and so far I have 16 chicks. I was just wandering if this hatch rate was good? The eggs were shipped and everything I've read states to expect 40% so I was just wanting imput, thanks!

THAT is 'unbelievably amazingly good'. Almost 'unheard of good' for shipped quail eggs! Congrats!
