all who are hatching quail

I candled my gamble eggs none were fertile.

Were your eggs from first year layers? I've heard from someone who raises Gamble quail that their eggs usually aren't fertile their first year

honestly i didn't ask the guy i bought the pair from he offered them to me at a smoking price so a bought them. i candled them again last night and realized i couldn't see any air cells in them so I'm going to just leave them in the bator and see

. maybe some one else can post pictures of Gamble quail eggs being candled. I'm wondering if the shell is so different from my coturninx that I'm just missing the veins or cant see them do to shell density. the eggs are way lighter in color but maybe are a lot thicker so harder to see thru?
i got my first valley quail egg last night from my pair.

I had 12 popcorns bouncing in the hatcher this morning hope i will have a bunch more when i get home. I have a trio of valley i hope they start laying.

Eggs finally arrived in the mail today so they'll go in tomorrow.

Crossing my fingers and toes for a good hatch this time.
