Woke up this morning to 44 coturnix babies, and more were pipping!

How many now?

Last night i had 13 hatch out of 300. Cant wait to get home and check the incubator. Probably have 100 chicks running every where. Hopefully......

Hello everyone. Just an update my quail made it wohoooo. It was a long night and I done the hot kitchen towel tthing and peeled enough membrane to release her head. I fell asleep in the same room and woke up and saw the little cutie running around while her brothers and sisters were still trying to come out their eggs. I named him/her rocky because she was such a fighter, after all that blood and chaos she pulled through and is the most lively. So let me introduce rocky, she/he likes to run around, her habits include walking on her brothers and sisters and waking them up when she is bored ;D she also likes to get stuck into impossible places.

If there is anything I learnt from this all it is to let mother nature do it's work.

I'm new to quail.... just ordered 20 coturnix eggs today. Have been doing hatching of chickens since 1985 however thought I'd take the dive into a new experience.

ok guys I need to know does anyone know where I might be able to get some quail egg shipping Foam other then ebay that doesn't cost arm and leg. I am shipping some quail eggs and found the holey foam is best to ship with. but finding supplier hasn't been easy.

a hatchery might sell some. I remember seeing one that sold shipping supplies. Can't remember which one though

James Marie Farms sells them....I dont know what the cost is though
