could be an issue with shipping. If the box wasn't clearly marked fragile or live eggs they may have been tossed around. I've never had good luck with eggs from EBay, not to say others haven't though. I was having horrible luck for a while myself. Try no water next time or very little to lower humidity around 30 or so until lock down. I bought a digital thermometer and set it right on top of my eggs to for a more accurate temperature. I just bought eggs from idhound off here and so far almost all are developing. I haven't candled everyone but I've heard he has high hatch rates and great prices. Might try ordering from him next time.

A good place on ebay to order eggs from is capital city poultry. I've ordered twice now, first time I got about 60% hatch rate. That was my first hatch. I just ordered a dozen browns and they sent 16. 12 are developing!

Capital City is the best for coturnix that I have found, She has a page on Facebook that I follow and people are reporting 100% hatch rates, mine was 75% from her

My first hatch was from a&ms eggs from them and they started laying exactly at 6 weeks! I'm hatching eggs from those birds now. 2 are out from 7 eggs. : )

I just put a batch of 48 eggs in the incubator today from Capital City Poultry. I ordered 36 and she sent 50!! 2 were broken but that still left me with an extra dozen. Customer service was great, now to see what % hatch...

Just got my first 5 eggs today!!! So happy :) The funny thing is that they are only 5 weeks old as of yesterday, I thought they started laying a little after 6 weeks? But hey I dont mind :) So what does everyone use for nesting boxes? Any pictures showing what u use would be appreciated. Thanks :)
