Hey ya'll! :frow I thought about a certain question that might be interesting to ask about chickens. Does anyone show any allergic reaction to chickens? If you do please let me know! Once again this is just a fun question that I thought I might ask. Thank you!

My daughter and 6 yr old grandson are visiting over the weekend and on day 1 they both woke up with a fine rash on the face, like an over-all graininess. On day two he stays the same but hers has progressed to neck, arms, torso and legs. Hers is very itchy, not so much for his which has not progressed beyond the face.
We’re suspecting a chicken allergy because we have 12 day old chicks in a brooder in the house. We actually have them in our own living space because we are in a small mobile home and the weather outside can’t be trusted yet. Chicken brooders can be dusty business!
We used sheets that were washed in the same load and it did not affect us so it would not be contact dermatitis. It would not be something we ate, as we have eaten the same things, and the shower soap is one that we all use, they’re the only showing symptoms.
March being prime allergy month I was thinking along those lines but now that I see the question with your suggestion about chicken allergy I am wondering if that could be it.
