It's not Walzyr, Walmart brand is Equate but im not sure if there is like something they call it. They call all their pills and health stuff equate. But all I know is that its Equate something. Haha

Get a neti pot - and make sure you don't have some kind of sinusitis going on. I do and it took a cat scan to find it. That is gonna hurt when I get the bill.

I have TERRIBLE ALLERGIES!! I've been on Zyrtec every day since I was 12 or 13 (when you could only get it by prescription.) I am 30 now and continue to take it daily. I could be a case study for them. lol. My main issues are dust mites, but there are other things I'm allergic to as well. I also have asthma.

Zyrtec is my lifesaver. For some reason - I've tried the generics and they do not work the same for me. If you go to the Zyrtec website , you can usually get a coupon through there, It's $2.00 or $4.00 off.

I've also used the nasal rinses, netti pot - but it doesn't do anything to stop itching or watering. It just helps keep your sinuses clean from getting infected. Not everyone can use one of these pots. If you have pain in your ear while you're doing it - you should stop.

You should read up on food allergies as well - also read up on how certain allergies are linked to food. Here's a link for "Oral Allergy Syndrome" also known as Pollen-Food Allergy. Here's a quote: "Another term used for this syndrome is '"Pollen-Food Allergy."' In adults up to 60% of all food allergic reactions are due to cross-reactions between foods and inhalative allergens."

I've also tried other allergy meds like Claritin and Allegra, but they don't work for me as well as the Zyrtec, but hey - everyone is different.

Lol I just thought and notice I typed rotor route....well should be root I guess.

Anyways.....I have some Clarinex from the doctor but it expired on 08/01/2010 so I probably should not take that....it did help though....I was taking one every night cause it makes me sleepy. My dh said he would take one hoping it would help.

What if my ears itch and hurt now? Not like an ear ache though I don't think they just hurt sometimes and itch a few times through out the day.

I have heard of flushing nose out....maybe I will try that too.

The netti pot helps sinus pain for about 40 blissful minutes for me, but it doesn't actually clear out my nose so I can breath, it just flushes sinuses. Afrin is powerful stuff. Like, eating through steel powerful. XD Really though, it will clear you out, but you can only use if for so many days in a row.

Thank you! What is confusing me is that my dh is having the same trouble but colds don't effect him like they do me. If it is a cold not sure allergy stuff will help.
