My username is Rainy Morning, but I don't mind being called Rainy.
When it comes to birds, I own three chickens as of the twenty-sixth of July; Rhoda ( Rhode Island Red ), Eliza ( Buff Orpington ), and Duffel (bantam Brahma)!
I am expecting some chicks any day now from Ideal Poultry, consisting of a Cornish Rock broiler, an Ameraucana pullet, a Barred Rock pullet, a pair of silver laced Wyandotte pullets, two Golden Sex Link pullets, and two Delaware pullets. This will be my first time raising a broiler, as well as my first experience with the Delaware breed.
Aside from the current small flock I own, I have had around five batches of chickens in the past... one with two lovely Pekin ducks ( which now swim freely in my lake ), and another batch with a trio of bobwhite quail ( who were unfortunately lost in one of the attacks ), not to mention three cats and a dog!
I hope I am welcome in this forum and will do my best to be a good member!
