Help needed!
I came in this morning to clean out our school chicks (5 and a half weeks old) and Hobbles has got a toe that’s bent sideways. Definitely only noticed today. She’s walking on the leg fine and it doesn’t seem to be bothering her but I’m worried that she’s maybe landed on it funny and it’s fractured or broken? Also read it can be a deficiency but would that show up so drastically this quick?
What options do I have to help?
I can try and book a vet appt. tomorrow but there’s only one chicken vet in the area and I don’t know if they’re working tomorrow. I don’t fancy trying to reset it myself without any pain relief for her as I’ve read it might be sore
