Hi,
I'm a new member to BYC, but I've been reading posts for a very long time. I've raised chickens for almost eight years, and I still find so much helpful information! I'm on my third set of six chicks now, and I am having even more fun than when I started! I think my most frustrating thing about raising chickens up until now has been that since I live in the city, I can't have roosters. The place I buy my chicks at says that they are sexed and supposed to be all hens. Ha ha...so far my experience has been they are right 50% of the time! So I started only buying sex-links. I like the black ones the best. Currently, I'm building a new run, so I'm looking at plans posted on BYC.
