hi we have a one year old easter egger and today she decided to go swimming in the pool we have set up for our two ducks. she was in there for about an hour or so and when pulled her out all she was doing was opening her beak a little now she has started responding a little bit more but is still lathargic. i am worried that she got water in her lungs and am trying to find out how to get it back out... if anyone can help with this we would be forever greatful

I think that she will be fine... just keep her warm and dry... try this... but I'm not an expert... Good luck!

A friend of mine had a chicken fall in a real pool, and she was upside down when he found her. He kept her wrapped in a towel on the couch for a few days, and she eventually just got over the shock and went back out.
