Here’s a fun one. 4 out of my 5 laying hens are broody. One has been for over three weeks, and the others have been slowly joining in. We’ve done a number of interventions with each, and the two longest broodies are in broody jail right now. But then two others took their spot leaving just one normal.
I’m inclined to just close of coop access, but the one who isn’t broody has been having some laying issues and don’t want to give her undue stress or remove access.
Any ideas for breaking four broodies at once? Can’t do fertile eggs, already at capacity with two more pullets in a brooder.
