We have been busting our butts trying to get our run finished for the girls. Right now, we have been moving them daily out to a poultry pen covered with a tarp during the day, and then back to the coop in the evening. So excited to finally be able to let them go in an out on their own and to have the run be (hopefully) predator proof. Built the whole thing on 6 concrete footers, with an apron 18-24 inches all the way around. Still need to get the apron around the coop itself and install the automatic door, but then we should be able to let the girls move in. So happy with how it is turning out, but it has taken about twice as long and cost a third more than we calculated! these birds better lay golden eggs. ;)

What did you wrap around the run? Hardwire mesh?
