Almost there 5 days away from my first hatch 18th day is saturday fingers crossed it goes well wish me luck as its my first time any tips on doing the best i can

my first hatch was to be Saturday... 48 barred rock and leghorn eggs.. when i opened up the bator to put the eggs in cartons and add water to troughs, i already had a pip..i used dry incubation, and i ALWAYS hatch in cartons. so today, day 19, i already have 10 barred rocks, but the leghorns seem to be having trouble.. my bator ran a little high....

wow i havent got no pipping yet but soon il have a chick and im so excited

Hatch is over. 40 chicks... i helped the last 6 out they would have never made it... the leghorns grew too big inside the shell im guessing, several died inside the shell, but the rest were dry inside and im glad i helped... alot of people are against helping, but not me... the trick is not to help too early.
