So this is my first time hatching chicken eggs, we have 4 that have hatched already. We have this one that has pipped through the shell and a little bit of the membrane but it been almost 2 days, I can tell the chicken is alive in there because you can see the membrane moving. The membrane is this dark almost black looking color. I looked online and it says you shouldn’t normally intervene, but this looks nothing the like the first ones that have hatched. Not sure if I should leave it alone or try and help it.

U can finish the zipping, and slowly help it, the main thing is that the yolk sack has to be absorbed, after pipping for two days you would think it is.
