I have about six more days before my chicks get here!! I have never had chickens before, and I don't know what to put my chicks in so they don't suffocate. I'm getting nine, so does anyone know what's good for putting nine chicks in?

Welcome! I'm new too! My sister keeps hers in a baby pool for about the first week, then she puts hers in a dog kennel until they're ready for the coop. Some people use rabbit hutches until they're old enough for the coop. Good luck, and let me know how things go.

Hi and :welcome

Glad to have you here!
The rabbit hutch is a good suggestion, or a cardboard box is another one. (Leave the lid open, and they will be fine!) We have always used a large cardboard box with some chicken wire over the top to stop the chicks escaping. A refrigerator box is pretty good for chicks.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have, and enjoy the site. :D
