almost week old chicks may have pasty butt

I hatched three silkie chicks and all three have poop stuck to their butss for a few days now and I'm not sure what to do. I have never had this problem so I'm looking for some help. Thanks

It's very important to clean it off as soon as possible and check them frequently to keep them clean. Pasty butt can block the vent and kill them. Gentle soaking / working loose with wet rag/paper towels and warm water. Sometimes keeping them too warm can make this happen.
