Mahalo for the warm welcome! I'm a Southern California native (L.A. and O.C.) who lives on Oahu now and having a blast raising our 3 hens with our kids. One hen skipped a few days of egg-laying and suddenly laid "jumbo eggs" - 2 days in a row but now she's gone back to regular or smaller-sized eggs - what are the chances that she will go back to laying "jumbo eggs"? Why/how do some hens lay larger eggs than others? Thanks so much! Bok Bok!
