alone duck

hey guys i just have a question , a friend of had two ducks unfortunately one of them (drake) passed away during summer , and the female is alone now , he just wanna know is it ok to keep her alone , she seems ok doesnt quack much ,swimming ,splashing ,enjoys cuddling, i mean is it cruel to keep her alone?

She most likely isn't quacking much because she is distressed and sad. She may not lay either because of this. After a while I think she should be fine. You could keep her alone, but she would enjoy a companion.

Ducks are very social.....They do best and thrive with other Ducks.....Suggest another Duck.....
