Alpha and Beta roos?

I'm certain I have one cockerel out of my three babies. One I'm not sure about, it has the same feather markings as the confirmed roo, but it smaller. It has a smaller comb, and slightly smaller in size as well. Could that be a beta roo, or perhaps a pullet I haven't recognized?

post some pics and it might help us figure it out for you. what breeds are they too. that may also help us to ask you some specific questions related to the breed's possible gender.

I've been told they're RIRs. These were taken just before Thanksgiving. I have another little bird, looks just like Larry but without the white spots on the wings. That one is Curly. (the three stooges, get it?)

This is Moe, I've been told he's my cockerel. He's the biggest.

And this is the one I call Larry.

This is the best I could find in my photos, I'll try for more this afternoon. Chickens are hard to photograph. I almost always end up with tail feathers, LOL.

From that photo, I'd say Larry is probably a girl, but I could be wrong.

Larry is a pullet. Moe is the only cockerel I see.

heh, i've had 4 Stooges in my year so far of chicken raising. Larry, Moe, Curly and Curly Joe (NO SHEMP!)
