Alpha Hen and Rooster

Hello,
Quick question and I hope I'm under the right forum for this question, but is it possible to keep a rooster if you have a Alpha hen. We ended up with a beautiful Silkie Rooster to add to the flock and wanted to make sure they would get along.

It's up to the hen whether she wants to get along with the rooster. She'll have the home court advantage, and she's likely to set him in his place. After getting to know one another, she may or may not decide to permit him to touch her.

They will have to get acquainted and work out their pecking order. There are some females sometimes at the top.
