So after finding out just how many Doms there are (er, how few!) we thought we should take them a little more seriously and start looking around for sources of other chicks/eggs/young birds. We will probably not be ready to purchase more day old chicks until spring/summer, so no rush if you don't have any available yet. We could purchase them as early as late March, but would prefer to wait until ALL the super cold weather is gone so we feel safer about shipping.

We are located in Central Oregon. Can drive to meet in Eugene, Salem, or Portland, or just meet here in Bend. Otherwise, will need them shipped.

Looking for nicer birds - we know we may not get perfect birds, but you can always hope! Nice backs, no hollow combs please, and prefer lighter colors and clean wattles.

If you have a small, healthy flock, and had considered selling some eggs or even day old chicks, please let us know. We would greatly prefer chicks/eggs from a healthy, low antibiotic flock, used to foraging.

Please post here so we can get in touch!

Mr. Bob Berry, or bobsbiddies on here has some really nice Dominiques. He also sells, sexes and ships, dayold chicks or hatching eggs and for a great price. He is in Ray City, Ga. and you can contact him at <[email protected]> or his website bobsbiddies.com. He lives not too far from me and I have bought from him several times and have always had great luck with his birds.

Here is a pic of a roo that I bought from him as a chick, my aunt now owns him. ( His leader spike on his comb has been dubbed off though)
