Me too...but just in the duck coop. I read somewhere that if they are startled in the night, can go into a panic and injure themselves.

I plan to add a touch light on a interior wall of my coop soon. Not for the chickens sake, but so I don't have to juggle a flashlight when I go out there at night.

i have Christmas lights in my pens so i can see what's going on in there at night. The pens too far away from the electrical source have solar Christmas lights.
