[Wintent]

The black horror in front of her let out an earth shattering roar and lunged at her. Carolyn crawled and picked up the pistol that Kurayami had dropped earlier and fired a shot. "'AY A**HOLE OVER HERE." The monster stopped it's attack on Kurayami and looked between the two girls.

Kurayami hit the ground when she saw it going for her she rolled jumping to her feet when it was distracted.

Julie was looking through a paper description about one of the laptops she was looking at, although still aware of her surrounding. All of the sudden, the paper she'd been holding lite up like a torch, flame consuming it as she dropped it, eyes wide behind her sunglasses. They'd gone white. she looked down at her hand, seeing how bad she'd been burnt. But, to her further surprise, her skin wasn't marked. She blinked, as if trying to decided whether or not to think her eyes were making things up. What had just happened?

Other Roleplay(s) Powers: Can see/manipulate energy waves. This can blur color waves, garble sound, mess with magnetic fields/waves, cause people to have muscles that clench.
Other Roleplay bio(s): I do *NOT* want to go into that deep pit of disturbing thoughts but I will anyways. During the last war in created she was captured and dragged to a facility where she was torchured, not for information but to take her will and sanity. She became an empty husk, controlled by dark forces until she saw the same thing happening to all the others in her class (I don't want to go into it). She had a painful experience regaining control of herself and became a hateful person, all acid to the bone. After the war she mellowed out and went back to her normal self. She still occasionally had moments of Rage, hate, and spite.
Is an accomplished pianist for her age, is a spaz and her hands are never still. She's an extrovert, and is defensive of anyone she knows. She likes creating things, and EVERYTHING in the arts.
Other: Wields a light war axe, and light Shortsword.

Shleya Looked at the clock and saw that her shift was over. (She has a job, if that's all right?) She headed out, biking everywhere because she couldn't afford a car. She decided to head towards the mall, there were always interesting people there. She saw someone wave and she waved back, almost automatically, but she had forgotten who it was. She frowned slightly as she flew past, thinking. Her memories were somewhat misty for some reason. She shrugged, deciding to think about it later as she skidded to a stop near the light and pushed the button to cross

The monster decided to ignore Carolyn and turned back twards Kurayami, just as a guy about Carolyn's age came sprinting down the opposite side of the ally behind the monster's back. He threw Carolyn over his shoulder and continued to run, with Carolyn slamming her fists on his back in protest.

Raya, in the store, glanced over at Julie's jerky movement and gave her an inquisitive glance.

Kurayami watched confused and shocked was this the 'help' that was coming?

Lee walked down the sidewalk, shoulders hunched, head down, not really paying attention. He didn't know exactly where he was going but had nothing better to do but kill time. He began to turn around a corner, looking up momentarily.

Kurayami watched confused and shocked was this the 'help' that was coming?

(No idea why but that made me crack up.)

The guy dashed right past the black thing, also grabbing the back of Kurayami's shirt, dragging both of the girls into the sun, throwing Carolyn onto the ground in annoyance. "ITS GONNA KILL US WHY DID YOU STOP?" Carolyn shrieked, pointing at the monster. The humongous jumble launched itself at the group, but was slammed back steaming by the wall of sunlight. "It can't kill us." The guy said, in an exasperated tone. "Also, I just might have stopped because you were smashing your fists into my spine!" Carolyn shot a glare at him. "What the h*** Arron, I messages 911, not you!" Arron rolled his eyes. "They called me, I'm your contact. They Said you were hallucinating, but being a reporter, I knew these things actually exist, and a zoomed here to save your sorry a**."

Ailyss sprinting around the corner, slammed into Lee and fell down, and got the wind knocked out of her. She sat on the ground staring at Lee wheezing.
