I guess your dog likes balut. I'm sorry for your loss.

My dog adores balut, and sadly, it's my fault, because I've made a habit of feeding her eggs that don't hatch. >.<

Oh well. Lesson learned. Don't put the incubator where the animals can get to it. At least she didn't ripped up the incubator!

Yeah, mine are all celadon, so i cant see through them at all.

I find celadon easier to candle in general due to the uniform shading of the shell. Sometimes I get one of either type that I can’t see thru, usually because they laid a hot steaming egg in mud and sand and it hardened into the bloom. I bought a cheapy egg light on amazon for like $10-$12 and its over 1000 lumens I think? Not sure on lighting terms but I read a bunch of people say at least 1000 lumens so I ordered one that was 1000.

Omg—-so I finally locked down the remaining eggs today, and aside from a cracked and smelly one which I tossed, they are popping out like crazy!!

They starting unzipping as soon as I transferred them to my hatching ’bator and turned up the humidity. 0.o. Day 15!

So far, 5 of 8 have hatched. No idea if the other three will, but still... considering these eggs got overheated, and then 2/3 got eaten by my dog...this is amazing. LOLOL.

Now I’m sad my dog ate so many of them. Would have been a nice, big hatch.

Oh well. Live and learn.
