Always thought this could be male

I haven’t noticed her in a box at all. I’m home half day 2 days a week and grab eggs a few times a day. The other days I get my eggs after dark so never have had a chance to see. I have 33 layers right now I believe so hard to tell.

Processed a roo of mine
He was 11 months
Never crowed, never had interest in the hens
Started development of hackles and saddle at 10 months and I wonder what was wrong with him till I opened him up
His pub's never grew
Was so small I couldn't believe, well I guess that was the reason.
Maybe the same for this guy

Those legs make me think female. She's most likely producing a bit more testosterone than she should. I have two hens that crow. One is a 9 year old hen who reached henopause and the other is a spayed hen. Your hen may not have developed normal reproductive organs and is thus has some male characteristics. She's a pretty chicken.
