It’s so hard to tell! Will wait and see what we end up with... we are in Australia, and I’m struggling to find any photos of partridge barnevelders to compare against!

Will she keep that pattern as she grows up do you think, or develop into typical Barnevelder feathering?

Well I have a barnevelder the same and I also bought point of lays which are nice hens. I’ll try to post photos again for you

They started off a lot lighter and much the same as yours

Update - first two photos very dark, she’s hard to photograph!

Neck has gone much blacker, and feathers are becoming more reddy/golden, particularly around her neck.

They’re lovely!
Our funny little girl doesn’t look anything like either, will be interesting to see as she develops.
