Am I a boy???

Here's pictures of mine:

This is a GLW, about 6 weeks of age. She has little bitty wattles visible, but really not much of a comb.

This is about 8 weeks old. Got some wattle here - I think this is my chick with the least wattle of the three. But it's still there.

This is about 10 weeks of age. Decent wattles, little bit of comb.

I have no reason to believe any of mine are roos. But your mileage may vary.

Thanks everyone. Farmerchef-I was sitting out in the run yesterday just staring at all of them, and that is what I noticed the most as well (the lack of lacing compared to my GLWs). I was really hoping that maybe they were just poor representations of the starndard, but alas I've finally came to terms with them being roos

Sorry, but they are both roosters, 100%. Along with the bigger combs, thicker legs, they have the feather pattern of boys. In this picture-our young roo is standing behind the BLR(black phase) hen. See the difference in him to the splash hen(sitting).

That's what is so crazy farmerchef-they are my 2 favorites out of all 10 of the baby chicks! I can keep as many roos as I want...just trying to figure out how many that will be lol. I'm finding out that one of my cuckoo marans and a random little mix are roos too (although they're not friendly at all).

And I also gotta say that you all are really making me want one of those blue-laced red wyandottes. I fell for the golden-laced cuz they look so pretty, but that blue lacing contrasted with the red is exceptional. Gotta keep repeating to myself that hubby said only 6 chickens this year... ;)

Eowyn2-I know it!!! Seeing pictures the BLRW hens are just AMAZING!!! I have one silver laced and 2 golden laced wyandottes and just LOVE them

Now that I have 2 BLR roos, I'm back to square one with finding BLR hens. Would your hubby even notice 2 more??? In chicken math, I've learned that 6 means at least 8

LOL - I'm trying desperately to avoid the dreaded Chicken Math.

But seriously, my family's motto seems to be that if something is worth doing, it's worth overdoing. So my dear hubby has to rein me in sometimes and keep me from getting in too deep. He agreed to 6 chickens to start with but also happily built a chicken coop big enough for more than that. I plan on adding a few each year to replace losses and have no gaps in laying as they age. I'm patient... hopefully... Hehe.
