People around here call me a trash digger, but I dont mind. Last week I got a rabbit hutch, 2 cages, and a roll of chicken wire. They wanted me to tear my fallin barn down, but instead ask neighbors who had them in worse shape if I could use wood from theirs. All of my pens are made from pallets and the whole back yard fenced in courtesy of trash days. I guess if u wanna call that cheap, go for it.

Cheap is when you get your mother a set of measuring cups for her birthday. Cheap is when you take your date out to burger king for dinner.

Smart is when you do exactly what you did. Somebody else a page or so back said that whoever called you cheap did so because "they were pee’d that didn’t think of it first."

well every one i think i may have got a little smarter since cheep = smart one of my other neighbors told me i could come and get any thing out of an old house they had and we could tear it down for them geuss what i took every thing out of that place that was worth any thing old paintings bushel baskets 10 5 gallon buckets a large barrel a cyth or sickle whatever an old wooden bench some old brushes some weaved baskets i figured i could use for chicken eggs and a bunch more stuff i cant think of but will tell yall later

u can use those 5 gal buckets as nesting boxes...read about that in backyard poultry....VERY nifty idea, or so I thought...
