    Black Copper marans rooster with an aracuna hen.

    10-11 weeks you say? Then I say it's definitely a rooster.

    since iam totally new at this, why would you say a roo?

    Comb development is too big/red at that age for a hen. And I bet if you waited a few more weeks then you would start to see pointed saddle and hackle feathers.

    they may actually be a bit younger, so that would confirm even more both roos.

    these aren't my birds, i was planning on buying the one, thinking it was a pullet.

    bummer that its not, was looking forward to "cammo" eggs lol
