I would say hen but the vertical lines in the breast feathers say cock.

Rust flight wings but vertical white lines in the chest feathers. Confusing...

If black feathers begin to appear on the belly = male.

Spaulding influence can create more barring on a hen. Here is a pretty low % Spaulding hen of mine.
