Am I a horder

I refuse to cull a non productive flock member or two or three or four... my mom says in a chicken horder. Am I?

You are not a hoarder until you have more animals than you can care for correctly.

are you keeping up with their care & feeding and coop cleaning, etc? If you can honestly say YES. Then your aren't a hoarder.

If you birds are roaming the neighborhood and becoming pests, you don't know how many you really have or if any didn't come home. Then I would say you need an intervention before neighbors report you & animal control takes them away.

Is your mom having to PAY for all the animals stuff?
If so she may be having a problem with spending so much money in order for you to care for them and may not be liking that.
Could be she is trying to tell you in her own way that you really need to get rid of some???

I have plenty of room and I pay for the feed and the housing the chickens were gifts from my grandma but my mom was raised when u just didn't have a pet chicken she think if they don't produce the should go
