Am I a silkie.. and am I a hen?

A bearded silkie about 5 months looks right.

Can’t help you with sex though. But a straight head on face shot of your silkie will help the other expert chicken sexers
Thank you. I will try to get one today!

Here's our Silver Sebright at about 5 months. She just started layimg last week. She surprised us, so we didn't even have a nest box set up for her yet. 😁

I don't have a good recent pic of our Gold pullet (same age), but will try to get one and post it later today.

She is gorgeous! I agree 5 montha didn't seem right as they both were much smaller then I expected!

I didn't realize they layed so young! I better get myself ready, I am so excited for my first egg!

This is my silkie at 5 weeks, it looks much closer to yours. Amd her at 5 months. She is 7 months now and laying tiny eggs. ^_^

The silkie looks more like a 7-8 weeks old. Can't really tell how big the bird is, so I'm only estimating the age.
Yes it looks like a pullet though.

I always sex my silkies.
Mine, & my sister's partridge silkies at 4½ - 5 weeks old.
They're sexed as pullets.

Faceshot.. i am bummed if they are that young. I took the risk on gender thinking if they were 5 months it was a pretty good guess about being hens.

Looks like a pullet, the comb is slim.

Had our gold Sebright in the background on a pic taken 7/24, so she's about 4 months old in this pic.

She's a tiny thing (one of our smallest birds), but had most of her adult feathers at this point.
