HA HA HA that was funny,

another funny is my hubby. During the winter when these birds were NOT laying he complained and complained you have to many chickens you need to sell some of them off. He added lights to the coop boom eggs. NOW he is dragging out another incubator and getting it set up. NOW who is at fault here. I will let him build and drag out anything that adds up to more chickens all days long.

31 - 3 weeks old chicks

6 - 1-2 week old ducklings

4 - 3 day old goslings

2 - 3 day old turkey poults

Then the local feed store told me they are getting Easter chicks!! I really don't need any more!! I will resist!!

No you still need more birds. lol just kidding
Ive only got 30 fully grown chickens
23 eggs hatching now
10 in 3 days
And i know im addicted

I keep telling hubby they all have a purpose!!

chickens - eggs and meat

ducks - eating bugs and such

geese - help mowing grass

turkeys - keep his oddball chick warm and company since we had to separate him from the others. It is a white crested black polish and my buff orps and rhode island reds were picking at his poor head. He just didn't fit in!!

I love them all. My geese already honk at me and are very sociable!! We named our turkeys Thanksgiving and Christmas, but are NOT going to eat them. One is brown and one is all yellow!!
