Am I Adopting a Rooster?

My good friend at work has a few Black Sex Link hens who went and got broody on her. They managed to hatch one chick and if he's a lil roo I am adopting him. His daddy is a RIR mix so we know he's a lil mutt...but is he a he?? Would love to know! I have 3 BSL hens myself and would love a rooster to look after my girls.
