Am I an imposter?

Hi all. I'm new to chickens and posted a while back about the sex of 2 gold laced wyandotte chicks I bought. They had totally different plumage so I thought one was a pullet and the other a roo - seemed logical 🙃.
Now I suspect one may be a gold cuckoo marans or a cross between a GLW as the breeder did have marans too - an imposter no less in my chookyard! What do people think? And sex? They are a minimum of 7 - 8 weeks.

The lighter one could be a GLW cross, though I’m not sure if it’s a cross with marans.

I’m curious about this other chicken in the photo, do you have a full body picture of them?View attachment 3386476
The rooster in the photo has blue feathers with barring. @RoostersAreAwesome , crossed with a glw hen, could that produce a pullet with the colors in this photo? Just curious.

Possibly, since the marans rooster does appear to only have one copy of the barring gene (the GLW cross isn’t barred, so couldn’t have come from a rooster pure for the barring gene). However, I would expect more black, rather than more gold, with a marans cross, as marans are usually based on birchen.
(Assuming you’re talking about the gold GLW cross.)

Also, I believe the rooster is black rather than blue (the black lightened to gray from the barring), but I could definitely be wrong since the picture isn’t the best quality.

Was sold to me as a pullet but sadly I'm sure its a rooster. The hen was light Sussex crossed with ?? Plymouth Rock. A shame cos he's both pretty and friendly.
