Am I at risk of getting sick?

Why do they do these things? šŸ˜‚ I’m assuming you didn’t get sick from it? I’m always overly cautious with chicken germs. 😭
Just a word to the wise: having chickens up by your face is a hazard to your eyes.
Absolutely, that’s why I keep my right eye closed when they get on my shoulder. They don’t like the left side for some reason.

I mean…I read a news article once telling people to stop kissing their chickens because they could get salmonella…so you’re probably good šŸ˜†

As much as I love like only give them air kisses šŸ˜… I take all that seriously, ain’t got time to get sick!
Honestly I think that article was nonsense. People get poop on their hands then eat without washing them and get salmonella. I think my husband got it from cleaning the fish tank then having a cigarette when we had frogs.

I have no idea why the writer of the article thought chicken-kissing was causing some kind of epidemic. It was silly.

kissing a chicken seems way less of a risk for getting sick compared to eating undercooked meat, but I rather not chance it though. šŸ˜…

Sorry your husband got sick before, you gotta be careful after handling any animal it seems.

The frogs came with a warning about salmonella so it wasn’t really a surprise. Just a really hard way to learn a lesson lol
