Am I crazy to get Giant Cochins when I live up North??

Will I have problems with all the leg and feet feathers come winter?? I love their size, what do you think?

My Cochins did Great in cold!


Roo got a little frost bite but, it is all gone now!


I think my Cochins & Brahmas have the best personalities!!!

I have cochins, and they did just fine. Actually I think they made out better than the regular chickens.
