Am I Crazy??!!??

Forest Hump always jumps in a nest box and chatters away or I find him laying beside Jenny or Lisa as they are in a nest. He's a lover..;)
I have roos that love making nests for their ladies.

I'm fine either way, but it does make it a little less complicated for a few reasons. First: Two roosters in a flock of 8 was not ideal. Second: I may be moving soon to a place where roosters aren't allowed. Now that we know Dandelion is a pullet, I'd only be forced to rehome one. Third: Dandelion and Violet (my other Silkie) are very bonded. It would have been terrible if I had to rehome Dandelion and break up the pair.

That's fantastic news...:clap

I'm glad you have a pullet, although I was trying to imagine your silkie and your welsummer creating a chick together.
My bantams are too small to fertilize my large fowl hens. I have a cockerel - a teeny little Sebright. He tries so hard to mate with my hens. His favorite is my Orp. But the parts don't quite line up. Even if Dandelion were a boy, I don't think it could happen.
