Am I doing Something wrong

They are buffs and black australorps they actually seem to be laying better now that we have the extra pen built hopefully that was the problem they are all starting to molt now too but instead of 10-15 im getting around 30 my oldest hens are around 4 now should i be getting rid of them?

I just wanted to chime in my experience. I have 18 hens of laying age - from 1-3 years. Getting 1-3 eggs a day. That is all. I used to get a dozen. DH is tired of feeding them and getting no eggs. Some are molting, not badly, but not all. None are hatchery birds, maybe that has something to do with it. They must be on a different cycle. Hope it revs up soon. They get their layer pellets, have free range of the huge vegetable garden and are not bored. Not much treats, they are just holding out - they are healthy, active and act very chickeny otherwise. I am sure it will get better.
