AM I DREAMING?

ok I went out to the coop tonight and opened the nest boxes and my chicken had made herself a little nest and made noises I had never heard her make before, she is 4 months old, is she getting ready to lay an egg?

I sounds like she is "practicing" to lay an egg soon.

Or maybe she WILL lay an egg~~I belive some hens will actually lay sooner than 5 or 6 months

We need an expert here though....

My BO laid at 16 weeks so anything is possible. Although, I'm not sure that's a good thing. Time will tell I suppose.
