I am also a teenager with chickens, and not much of a social life.

Before I met my boyfriend, I would modestly admit that my cat was my bestfriend!

Now, my best friend is my boyfriend. I'm really close to his family and his youth group who I am now a part of, and made a few friends there. He connects me to so much more people.

I know how you feel so dang well! I moved to a new school, and it seemed I had not one close friend. It would make me cry when I let it get to me. The loneliness was awful. I am quiet and too nice of a person - its easy for people to push me around and step all over me.

Everything changed when I met my bf though. He made me feel good about myself... he showed me what it was like to go out and have fun, to meet new people, to just...be myself. I can talk to him about anything.

I am going to be a senior, and I am going to give you some advice that I wish I had realized long ago - there is so much more out of high-school! Soooo much!
Dont let all that social poo get in the way of who you are and what you love.
Summer vacation really helps me get back on my feet from school drama/work and really begin to enjoy life and actually set some goals.

Just be yourself. Dont think about what other people think. That is when you will be truly happy!

23 here, and a guy. Never was a popular guy, being into rabbit shows, and always going to "XYZ" dog shows....I was always the geeky kind of guy. But i met my bed bro back in highschool, by chance...and to this day, we still chill when we can find the time. WE met, totally by accident, because all the seats were taken up at lunch one day, and though originally, we knew nothing about each other, we grew into a strong bond. He's kinds like the guy version of a "BFF." LOL! Anyways, keep your head up, and the right people will come around. Better to have one good friend, than to have many half-backsideed friends.
