Am I losing my mind???? What day am I on??

I have been watching my bator all day today, waiting for baby chicks, a zip, a pip, anything, and nada, not even a rocking egg. UGH!! I set 15 Ameraucauna eggs at about 10:00am on Friday, August 1st, wouldn't that mean I was on day 21 today? What am I missing?? Am I on the wrong day? Someone please tell me I am not losing my mind.

You are not losing your mind, steff. However, there is a little saying that if you set them on a certain day, they'll hatch on that day. So, you have a day to go before you need to worry too much.

If I set on a Friday , I don't expect anything till Friday, and if they come early all the better, but at least I don't stress
