This thread is hilarious!
But i might have sort of a solution. Maybe.
It depends on how long you can keep yourself from bringing out treats.
When i first trained my chickens to come for treats, i did it by accompanying the treats with a loud call that they all learned to recognize. That call is also great for making the neighbors think you are the magic chicken lady - but i digress.
But of course, after a while, it was nothing more than the sound of my voice or the sound of my front door opening that would bring chickens from every corner of the property in a mad run for treats. Additionally, of course, i couldn't walk 5 feet on my place without tripping over or stepping on a seemingly starving chicken. This makes it very hard to do your chores.
So, i stopped bringing out treats. I know. It's so sad. But it's only temporary. Once i got them to the point that they didn't necessarily come sprinting, stark raving mad, from the four corners of the earth, whenever they heard my screen door slam, i could start giving treats again. But only with the call. And not every day.
