Sometimes my incubator randomly shoots up to 102 for a few minutes. It this okay?

You must be around Day 12? I had a spike in temps as well - just adjust your thermastat a little down once the spike happens and it will even out.

No problem 102 is ok. If it goes above for any great length of time then I would worry. It's takes a few hrs for the internal temp of the egg to go up or down.

I keep adjusting mine downward - it's been hotter here today so that may have something to do with it.
